Kevin Kenow to Present Loon Research at VLA Meeting
All Vermilion Lake Association (VLA) members are invited to an evening of fun, food, and friends. Enjoy a silent auction, a raffle, and a great program.
The organization’s 51st annual meeting and dinner will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the Tower-Soudan Elementary School.
Festivities start with a 4:30 pm social hour, followed by a 5:30 pm buffet dinner. The featured speaker will be Kevin Kenow, USGS Research Wildlife Biologist, who will share his work on developing common loon conservation strategies using unique technology to look at migration and foraging patterns.
The cost of the dinner is $20 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under.
