“Wonders of Nature” – 2020 Photo Contest

The Vermilion Lake Association invites you to participate in sharing the beauty of Lake Vermilion by submitting your photos in the 2020 “Wonders of Nature” Photo Contest! We are looking for photos of land/sky/waterscapes, people on or near the lake enjoying nature, and/or animals (wild/pets).

Submit your entries by August 1, 2020. Entries will be judged by members of the VLA via our website with the top three recognized and published on our website, in our newsletter and/or social media.

Prizes:

First Place: $75.00
Second Place: $50.00
Third Place: $25.00

Winners will be notified by phone or e-mail by August 28, 2020.

Contest Rules:

Must be a Vermilion Lake Association member to enter and to vote. Entries are limited to 3 photos per entrant. By entering, you represent that your entry is your own original work and that you own or have the rights to the submitted photo. By entering, you also grant permission to the Vermilion Lake Association to republish your submission, along with your name in any and all media without further permission, notice or compensation including print publications, online and social media. Vermilion Lake Association reserves the right to reject any submission.

Voting:

All entries will be available to view on this website as they are submitted beginning June 1. Must be a VLA member to vote. Votes are limited to one vote per member, three votes for family memberships. Votes can be submitted by paper ballots which will be printed in our newsletter. All votes must be cast by August 14.
