Fishing Report from Lake Vermilion Guides League
East End Report: Opening weekend provided some great weather this year and the fish were cooperating. The walleyes were in the mud in 20′ to 32′ during the daytime and were biting on Lindy Rigs and jigs and minnows. The evening bite was best on slip bobbers in 6′ to 10′ of water along the gravely shore lines.
Crappie fishing was slow over the past few days with one or two per spot in the shallows. The crappies seem to have moved a little deeper with the weather systems moving through.
Good luck out there this week as the fish are always biting somewhere on Lake Vermilion!
