Northern Pike Regulation Change at Lake Vermilion

Beginning this May, the DNR is discontinuing the special northern pike regulation at Lake Vermilion and is adopting the state regulation already in place for most lakes in the northeast region. Anglers will be able to keep two northern pike with a slot limit of 30 to 40 inches. Fish in the slot must be released. Only one of the two fish kept can exceed 40 inches.
